We operate in accordance with applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, including the UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020), Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Trading by Modern Technological Means (Digital Commerce Law), and regulations applicable to precious metals and stones in Dubai / the UAE.

By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, booking a consultation, or purchasing jewellery, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have legal capacity under UAE law) and that you accept these Terms together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We specialise in luxury jewellery including gold, sterling silver, diamonds, and fine pieces. Product images and descriptions on this website are for illustration; natural variations in colour, stone characteristics, and hand-finished detail may occur.

• Gold pieces are offered in stated purities (e.g. 18K / 22K) and are intended to be hallmarked and authenticated in line with applicable UAE precious metals requirements.
• Diamonds are offered with GIA and/or IGI certification where stated. Certification documents are provided with the piece as applicable.
• Sterling silver pieces are offered as 925 silver unless otherwise specified.
• Weights, caratages, and measurements stated are approximate unless confirmed in writing on your invoice or certificate.

We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing, description, or availability and to cancel orders placed on the basis of an obvious error, with a full refund of any amount paid.

Prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise stated. Where Value Added Tax (VAT) applies under UAE law, the total price including VAT will be clearly communicated before you confirm a purchase. Any delivery, insurance, or payment processing fees will also be disclosed before payment, in line with UAE digital commerce disclosure requirements.

• Payment methods accepted will be confirmed during checkout or consultation (e.g. bank transfer, card, or other authorised methods).
• Orders are confirmed only once payment is received or authorised as agreed in writing.
• Bespoke commissions may require a non-refundable deposit; the balance is due as set out in your commission agreement.

Submitting an enquiry or form does not create a binding sale until we confirm acceptance in writing (email) and payment terms are agreed. Private consultations (in-person at our Dubai atelier or virtual) are by appointment.

For bespoke jewellery, the design brief, materials, estimated timeline, and price will be agreed before production begins. Changes requested after approval may affect price and delivery date. Once craftsmanship has commenced on approved specifications, cancellation rights may be limited to the extent permitted by UAE consumer law and as stated in your commission agreement.

As dealers in precious metals and stones, we comply with UAE Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism requirements applicable to Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs).

• We may request identity verification (e.g. Emirates ID or passport) and related Customer Due Diligence information before completing certain transactions.
• We may decline or delay a transaction where required information is not provided, or where we have reason to believe a transaction may violate applicable law.
• Suspicious activity may be reported to the competent authorities as required by UAE law. We are not obliged to disclose such reports to you where prohibited.

Delivery options, estimated timeframes, and shipping costs are confirmed before purchase. We use secure, insured shipping for jewellery where available.

• Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide, or upon collection from our atelier, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• You must provide accurate delivery details. We are not responsible for loss arising from incorrect addresses supplied by you.
• International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import rules in the destination country — these are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
• Title to goods passes only upon full payment.

Your rights under the UAE Consumer Protection Law are not affected by these Terms. For defective goods, consumers generally have remedies including repair, replacement, or refund within the periods provided by law (including the statutory framework commonly associated with a 30-day window for defective goods, subject to applicable regulations and the nature of the defect).

• Ready-made pieces: returns for change of mind may be accepted only if expressly offered at the time of sale, in original condition with all certificates and packaging, within any stated return window.
• Bespoke / personalised pieces: generally non-returnable except where defective or not as described, as required by law.
• Earrings and certain hygiene-sensitive items may be non-returnable once worn or unsealed, except for defects.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period after we receive and inspect the returned item.

We may offer complimentary cleaning, polishing, or aftercare as described at the time of sale. Any limited warranty on craftsmanship will be stated on your invoice or in writing. Warranties typically exclude damage from misuse, impact, unauthorised repair, or normal wear. Diamond and gold certifications remain subject to the issuing laboratory's terms.

All website content, logos, designs, photographs, and brand materials of The Luxury Journey Jewellery are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them for commercial purposes without prior written consent. Bespoke design rights are as agreed in your commission paperwork; unless otherwise stated, we retain rights in our original design concepts.

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content, or use it for unlawful purposes. Website content is provided "as is" for general information; it does not constitute a binding offer until confirmed as set out in these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or delay in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under UAE consumer protection or other mandatory law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Courts of Dubai shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer dispute mechanisms available in Dubai / the UAE (including processes administered by competent consumer protection authorities).

We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve concerns amicably.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the latest version. Material changes affecting ongoing orders will be communicated where required. Continued use of the website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
